I asked my mail carrier lady if she even looks at the mail other than the address, and she said she doesn't have time for that. It would take her twice as long if she checked out what she was delivering to everyone. I'm sure there are a few outliers, like the infamous mail carriers who bring the mail home and horde it instead of delivery it, but they are the exception.
