I have to have a dual-chamber ICD placed on December 5 at 5 p.m. EST.
I go in at 2:30 pm and don't have the surgery till 5 pm.
I cannot have anything like water, meals or meds for 12 hours. I will really be hungry and I have type 2 diabetes. I have ventricular tachycardia as a result of having had cardiomyopathy since I was in my 20s. I have a first cousin, my father's side, niece of my father with nearly the same thing. She is in her 60s but I am 75. I quit transcription in 2015. Anyway, I had hoped meds or ablation would do it and not have to have this ICD. Darned.
So you can see where I really want prayer since I have a really significant family history of everything and I have lots of the serious things. LOL. I tell people I got in the wrong line when I was being formed and got everything no one wanted but had a pre-disposition.
I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I will have a sling on and will have restrictions. I don't have much help so might pray someone will come and help me.
Will sure let everyone know when I am home and what is going on.
