to be punished for what their parents did? This young person is a US student by default, as they grew up here and went to school here because of their parents bringing them here. They had no choice about it and could say nothing to stop it. Jealousy is a green eyed monster and sounds like that's the issue here. I personally would have been happy for that young person, despite my scrimping and saving and applying for student loans for my own child. It may be time to develop a bit of compassion for people who actually may have had a much tougher life than you did. I pray you can put your soul at ease over this perceived injustice.
