There was a LOT of influence peddled by the Obama WH. This explains why the Dems are so adamant on stopping any investigation into what really happened in a small country we barely cared about before.

Steele was essentially Hillary and Kerry's "back-channel" into the Ukraine during the Obama presidency. Most of his reports were about Ukraine.
The influence of Hillary and her assistant, Victoria Nuland, into the politics of Ukraine included organizing a coup. A leaked phone call where Nuland and the then-current Ambassador to Ukraine in 2014 essentially picked out the next president of the Ukraine after an organized coup.
