They use entertainment for an agenda. Younger generations don't know they're being manipulated. Edward Bernays did it at the turn of the 20th Century. He was an ad man who pushed smoking cigarettes by having film stars smoke. He got Americans to think bacon and eggs was a healthy breakfast (for the bacon industry) by saying "4 out of 5 doctors say breakfast is the most important meal and bacon is part of it....It was all an ad gimmick. He later worked for FDR.

Joseph Goebbels actually learned propaganda techniques from his book. He was horrified when he found this out, but it's true.
