ever about racial and ethnic issues? Do you think maybe the professor was trying to teach this student how to defend their written positions properly, whether he agreed with them or not? There is a great diversity of opinion out in the big wide world and being able to reason through your arguments and make a compelling case for your beliefs is very important. That's what I think that course was all about. From what I read in that link, I don't think the course was anti-conservative at all.
