hiking, boating, etc. and enjoy the beauty of nature. My husband grew up in a small town and used to have a hunting class, carried that .22 through school out to the back of the school yard where they shot. I grew up in a city and we didn't do that, but was taught about guns by my dad and every year the men folk went hunting and we ate venison for quite a while afterward and yes, I knew where the meat came from because we were all there when they got back and hung the deer, skinned them and took it to a processing place to have it cut up and packaged. My son went hunting once and got a deer and I cut it up on my kitchen table and packaged it and we ate the venison. By the way, we're all liberals.

I also used to fish, even went salmon fishing. It was exciting to hook into a salmon and get that sucker into the boat. We used to fish for crappie, perch, bass, etc. and loved eating it. Again, I'm a liberal.

I know lots of girls and boys that hunt, one of my friends, a girl, prefers bow hunting, thinks it's more of a challenge than blowing the deer away with a rifle and she is a liberal.

I really don't hunt and during hunting season and really all year, I have deer that hang around on my property. I enjoy watching them and watching them raise their young. They don't even run when I come out in the yard.

Growing up in the city where we didn't have hunting classes, I took woodworking and small engine classes.

I know lots of people that hunt, both liberal and not liberal. Times have changed on a lot of things. People used to have to hunt to survive and now they don't, so it's just a matter of preference on if you want to hunt. We also used to rely on horse and buggy to get around and now we don't.

Some people work in manufacturing plants, tech jobs, craftsmanship jobs, construction jobs, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. With the population the way it is, imagine if we all hunted. There would be nothing left to hunt.

You need to get over it with your "lefty parents abuse their children." I don't like trophy hunters and the righty president's children do that so they can hang the head of a beautiful creature on their wall so they can feel manly.
