I don't know about the History Channel. I will never - forget waiting excitedly to see

their supposed epic series "The Story of US"...an overall view of the American Republic.

What was it? It was pure, unadulterated LEFTWING propaganda. The truth about European influence and development of this land into a free market system where people can achieve their potential was completed muted out and the ideas of Howard Zinn were front and center.

There were only TWO "interviewees" who could, in a small sense, be considered Republican--and they were used sparingly: Newt Gingrich (bonafide conservative) and Colin "I love Barack Obama" Powell.

I watched about three episodes--thinking it might just be a one off or that some balance might shine through. Not a chance. The History Channel probably has some good stuff...but the extremist liberal bias that came through that mini-series was enough to turn me off forever.

It should be renamed “The Revisionist History Channel”
