President Trump is to hold a rally in Minneapolis tonight. The City recently decided to stop off-duty officers from wearing their uniforms while they're endorsing a political party, candidate or campaign.
Fair enough.
The Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis responded by selling "Cops for Trump" T-shirts. The first batch sold out by noon.
City officials also decided on over $500,000 for "security and other costs." This is more than 26 times what was charged for Obama in 2009. The mayor said that was because Obama was there "as president of the United States, not (for) a campaign event.” It's reported that no amounts were available for what Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton were charged.
