process is blatantly unconstitutional. It is an extra-legal proceeding, declared by one power crazed political enemy, that is meant to have legal effect. The “accused” have none of the Constitutional guarantees (such as due process, for example) and no procedural certainty.

The House may be empowered to make its own rules for running itself, but nothing permits it - and certainly not the Speaker individually - to invent a procedure to evade the Constitutional protections, create a process just to destroy a political enemy, or deny the rights of the House minority- and that’s only a few of the aspects of Pelosi’s assault upon the rule of law.

This must be stopped because it represents nothing less than overturning our Constitution and rejecting the rule of law.
