You're most welcome. Diet changes can help some. sm - Lexi

Diet changes are not a cure-all or fix-all for each and every little thing, but I find sugar and gluten are like throwing gasoline on fire when it comes to inflammation. Some years back, I wanted to take off some weight, so I cut out carbs for a while. About 3 weeks in, I noticed I was hurting a lot less and didn't need nearly the dose of prednisone to maintain. I asked my doctor about it, and she confirmed that it was the lack of gluten and sugar that was helping. Now, as I said, diet doesn't cure everything, and different people have different triggers, but if I keep an eye on what I am ingesting, I have a lot less pain. And, why is it always the stuff we love that we have to cut out? I can make a meal out of a loaf of french bread and a stick of butter, you know? Why can't it be lima beans that cause the problem? ;)

All kidding aside, if you are having that much of a problem, and you think it's RA, please pursue whatever workup you are able. RA isn't only painful, it is destructive, and it's progressive. You'll be in my thoughts. Thanks for the hugs.
