it seems that every time I go in for my annual "wellness check" they find something wrong with me and send me to two or three "specialists" for continued testing! I had a chest ct scan for some breathing problems I had, just to see what was there, and suddenly I had to see a cardiologist and a pulmonologist. The cardiologist recommended further testing to see if I had blocked arteries. I did not take the test and do not want to. I went to two pulmonologists, and the first one said I had COPD and put me on inhalers and nebulizers twice daily. The second pulmonologist I went to said "I don't even know why you are here! I see nothing in your testing that warrants your being here." Conflicting opinions; hundreds of dollars that my insurance company has to take care of, wasted time, and nothing was wrong with me in the first place. It is aggravating, costly, and leads me to not trust doctors or medical facilities at all anymore! They do not see patients; they see bank accounts and nothing else! They want your money and your insurance companies money, and they could really care less if you are healthy or not.
