my Skene glands are irritated. After 2 visits to the urologist and 1 to the gynecologist, who prescribed intravaginal Estrace, I am going to see a urogynecologist in 2 weeks. Initially, I also thought I had a UTI, but there was no infection.
The burning/irritation seems to be worse while sitting in certain positions. Other than that, I cannot point to anything that specifically triggers it. It feels like that delicate tissue surrounding the urethra is abraded and raw.
Hope you can find some relief of your symptoms.
