Menopause and atrophy question. Do any of you have to - use a chair cushion for comfort? sm

Menopause.  Had been having severe uncomfortable pinching, cramping sensations when sitting too long and thought it was UTI because of severe, sharp pains on urination, like passing glass shards.  Several family practice visits and lab showed no UTI, so WTH was wrong with me.   Urology workup said vaginal atrophy, which is of course right next to the urinary tract so both of them are atrophied.   I started taking a supplement because I did not want to use estrogen cream.

Seems like the supplement helped and I felt better, but my life is a bit chaotic right now and I dont always remember to take it every night so I've missed a few doses and need to get back on it.

Have any of you had this problem and use a special cushion or anything to sit on to try to help relieve the discomfort?

At first it was like wearing a pair of jeans a size too tight, that pinching, cramping feeling and the pressure of the center seam hurting very badly like sitting on a fence railing all day.  That's as best I can describe it.   Other than the whole  "undercarriage" if you will, cramped together and its very uncomfortable sitting.   I cant sit leaned back all day long to relieve the pressure, and I cant stop working, so wondering if any ladies have any special cushions to sit on?
