Bought two of them when I had to get home aides to come help with my mom while I worked. They are fantastic. Sync with my cell phone, get alerts when there is movement in the house, and get real time monitoring. How I happened upon it was I was inquiring about with my cable company because they offered some type of home monitoring device, and the customer service person, recommended it because they had it and said it was cheaper. I'ave had it over a year now.
