to demand to see proof of citizenship paperwork without a legitimate reason, probably cause, other than to be big tough guys and to throw their weight around. What they are doing is absolutely illegal. I hope you're never in a situation where you are subject to such questioning. I'm sure you'd be screaming about your rights being violated and be happy that the ACLU comes to your aid. Yes, I say truth hurts too, and I also say walk a mile in my shoes.
