I don't think a lot of Americans know the history of how the European Jews went to the "Holy Land" and grabbed it for themselves by force when it had been occupied by the Palestinians for many hundreds of years and then founded Israel. They now treat the Palestinians like dogs. I do not blame Congresswoman Tlaib for turning down a chance to visit under restrictions dictated by the Israeli government to keep her mouth shut.
