1. Left does not advocate shutting down 3rd world countries and bringing everyone here. We are open to immigration of parts of their population in need; specifically those populations affected by US regime change and imperialism.
2. We do offer aid in direct aid to foreign governments to build their infrastructure and there are charitable organizations such as Heifer Int. And mission organizations that assist in building infrastructure.
But, probably the most ideologically opposite thought is that the countries "will solve their own problems." That is just an excuse to keep Corporate capitalist darwinist $$$ for themselves. They are looking to affirm their selfishness.
