I am talking about there are many people (not all) that think God is going to wave a magic wand and all will be well. That's my inerpretation of people who stay in bad jobs (like MT) for years on end, knowing they're in a bad place, but just hope and pray it gets better.
I am a very strong proponent of prayer, when the person who is praying is also being proactive and pounding the pavement looking for something else for a job, and not looking for a hand-out.
I personally have prayed for this person to get the strength to get up and out and do whatever she as to do to earn a buck. Wash windows, clean houses, clean churches, dig ditches, anything.
It is NOT mean to pray for someone to gain strength so that they don't have to rely on Go-Fund-Me or others for financial support.
