When I first saw the story, I didn't know whether or not there were any ties to radical Islam either, but not because one news article said so or not.
Instead of just doing a search on the story about the forum, I did a search on the organizations themselves. Someone below provided a link to information on 2 of these organizations. It's far from "not ... nefarious."
