As for upon whom is the onus, if a person wants to know something, they can find out for themselves. Or are you one of those people who will constantly challenge something they don't want to acknowledge by dismissing supporting evidence? Your statement suggests that, in your world, you define the rules. The problem with that is the rest of the world doesn't care what your rules are.
