create an insult like the conservatives like to say liberal fascist (which is simply a political theory and not actual people). Liberals like to say conservative fascists, also to create an insult. No one is going by the actual real definitions of these things. Fascist is just used to add an extra oomph to a word to make it more insulting. That's the way it's done here. It's become commonplace.
