Democrats should definitely pay reparations, if they feel that's necessary.
Democrats and the southern states were the ones who kept slaves.
Democrats and the southern states were the ones who instituted Jim Crow laws and segregation.
Democrats started the KKK and terrorized people.
Everything Democrats cite as reasons to pay reparations are things Democrats did to African-Americans. Therefore, reparations make perfect sense. Democrats should pay them.
The only remaining question is should Democrats also pay reparations to the Republicans who fought them in the Civil War and spent money and blood to correct their slavery injustice?
