Do you know much of the reason illegals don't have insurance is because they don't have driver's licenses? Most people in general that don't have insurance are the low wage earners who just can't afford it. Wouldn't you think that if they had licenses they would most likely get insurance because if they got pulled over it would be worse for them than legal citizens?
I have found nothing that says in California illegals are the only uninsured drivers or that once they were allowed licenses they stayed uninsured. Your insurance likely went up because that's what insurance does. Can you show me some article, state fact or something that states "they remain uninsured."
From things I read, there are only statistics on uninsured motorists but really no statistics on how many of them are illegal but I welcome your proof.
