Why so reluctant to actually help - Everyone in our society

Instead of just the fortunate? Is it a psychological game? Do only certain people get the satisfaction of waking in the morning, knowing they are winning?

In your current system, only so many can win...or even stay alive.

I want our government to work for everyone.
