who suffered through years of infertility, when are women going to understand that once you are pregnant, there is another life to consider, not just YOURS and what is convenient for YOU. I cannot understand how any person would want to "get rid of" a beating heart, an obvious sign of LIFE. There are plenty of women just like me who would want that baby - and pay big bucks too. Why is it that when a women miscarries at 8 weeks, she says "I lost the BABY, but when a woman has an abortion at 8 weeks, she says "I got rid of IT." So, to all of those women who march on Washington and elsewhere for abortion rights, and yes, that is absolutely your right to do so, just remember that if your mother would have been able to have an abortion because it wasn't convenient for her, she would have gotten "rid of IT" and YOU wouldn't be here. And yes, silencing a heartbeat IS murder - be it from gun violence, a drunk driver or an abortion. What else would you call it? Why is it that in most courts, if a pregnant woman is murdered, her murderer is charged with TWO deaths, the woman and the fetus. You can't have it both ways. So yes, I am Christian and no, I'm not a "Christian version" of fundamentalist Islamic law. That is absolutely nuts and as usual, the Left has gone off the deep end.
