I am reading Volume II and from what I can tell - it is simply compiling facts

I can see no hatred in the document. They are just telling the story of the many times Trump tried to get someone or other to fire Mueller and how he wanted a hand-picked AG to take over the investigation and basically stomp it out.

In the real world this would certainly be obstruction, and would be criminal behavior, but in this instance the president cannot be indicted.

It doesn't mean that his actions and words should be sugar coated to make it look like something else.

Honestly, they had to detail the events as they happened, and I see absolutely no hatred there but just the facts of the history of events.
