We are not a socialist country and aren't - headed that way.

Socialism is when the government owns everything and that obviously is not the case here. The private sector owns businesses. The government may have regulations out there to protect us but the businesses are owned and operated by private owners or corporations.

I would be warning my children of how dictatorships come about because that really seems to be where we are headed. They're started by fascism, which is neither right nor left, but a person's ideals. They may be far left or far right leaning but fascism is fascism.

Venezuela started it's downfall due to a lot of factors. Chavez was a far left leaning fascist and then when Maddura took over, he may have started out following Chavez but then switched over to a far right leaning fascist. Another factor was relying on oil too much. It's always about the oil.

You may fear the far left leaning politicians but you should be equally afraid of the far right leaning politicians right now that are running our country. Personally, I don't care for either of them and support anyone who is moderate, whether right or left. We are headed down a path of destruction by both extremes and people need to wake up before it is too late.
