And the good news is some of those corporations put - that money back into their businesses

by upgrading and expanding, thus hiring more workers.

AT&T gave bonuses to nonmanagement employees and an additional $1 billion investment in the US. Boeing put $100 million toward workforce development. Walmart expanded paid parental leave and boosted starting wages to $11 an hour.

Walt Disney Co. invested $50 million in an education program that covers tuition costs for hourly employees and $1000 cash bonuses to more than 125,000 employees.

Many other smaller local businesses also did this. For example, Wisconsin-based Copperleaf Assisted Living handed out $60,000 in bonuses, the company’s ENTIRE tax reform savings. Family-owned Jordan Winery in California’s Sonoma County, announced $1000 bonuses for all eligible employees.

I don't have time to look up more, but people fail to tell the whole story. What else is new.
