The most successful healthcare in other countries relies on everyone participating, just like the ACA did. There are many systems in the world that top what we have had in the United States.
Healthcare for all does not have to mean "socialized medicine" but like it or not, it does require everybody participate. We will never have a good system here in the United States unless people start understanding that healthcare for all means participation by all.
This article compares various other country's healthcare systems. We really could learn from other countries. Finland is not mentioned in this and I don't really know if that is where Bernie gets his ideas from or not because I don't pay attention to Bernie. As far as I know, though, I have heard nobody talk about turning us into socialism. That would mean we would have mostly government run businesses and we don't have that at all here and I have heard nobody suggest such a thing.
Conservatives like to throw that word "socialism" around to make "democrats look stupid." That, after all, was the point of the article.
