What's in it for me, it's for free. Socialism will work for me. Financial inequality? Tax the people who prospered? Ok, Let's start with Hollywood, sports players, etc. with their $ speeches.

People don't know the difference in a welfare state and socialism. It's not a utopia.

The lure of a utopia is always going to trick people into thinking socialism will work. We have to accept that fact. What's being taught in schools now is somehow libraries are roads are socialist, which is utterly false. But we laugh at our peril.

The GND didn't just pop up out of nowhere, it was orchestrated years ago just like Obamacare. The progressives were losing control due to the improved economy - had to have a new boogieman to control the people.

Same with the current fad of how cool and great socialism is. The Overton window is being moved.
