I am astounded by those who refuse to believe this. I know they must know they are wrong.
For example, what is wrong with saying one is a nationalist? I consider myself a nationalist. By that, I mean I support this nation. I heard a radio guy call himself a nationalist about 10 or 12 years ago. I went home and looked up the definition. It said nothing about race!
Here is the definition by Merriam-Webster, who has been the go-to dictionary since 1828:
