Each woman has her own unique situation. - Each decision should be based on SM

Posted: Feb 10th, 2019 - 12:36 pm In Reply to: This is what late term abortion - Is for

what is best for her and her own life situation. Nobody'e else's business, nobody else will go what she's going thru and have to live her life and the results of her decision whatever it is.

What about some of us here; many of us are over 50 years old. Tubes tied years and years ago. Safely being sexually active without risk for years, and we have every right to do so.

Some quirk of fate, doctor did a sloppy job of surgery, the tubes become untied. Lo and behold, there's a baby. Now what?

Say it's me, like many of us. I'm over 50, working as an MT, the only job choice I have, not old enough yet for retirement, barely making minimum wage, could lose my job any day due to the fickle world of MT these days.

Are you all going to tell me that I still need to have that baby? Over 50 and baby with much higher risk of congenital anomalies, higher health risk for women our age range already with our own health problems.

Some people still going to throw stones, call names, guilt trip, curse me/us/her (whoever), and try to make us have that baby in that type of a situation.

If it were me, you dam well know I'm going to make the choice I want that's best for my life situation and pro lifers screaming "save that baby under any circumstances" can get stuffed.

***EDIT: and if I carried that baby to term and then gave it up for adoption, I'd face criticism for that as well. A woman can't really win no matter what the situation.
