of French people that felt left behind by a globalizing world. The year was 1940, the place was Dunkirk. The French that felt left behind were the French soldiers as they watched the BEF escape along with a few thousand of their French comrades. The globalizing event was Hitler trying to create a one world government (Japan and Germany eventually would have fought if Hitler prevailed in Europe)

WWII threats were invading armies. Today’s threats are 5th columns destroying from within. Globalization means tyranny, no matter how soft it’s peddled.
