have no idea why they are protesting. What started out as a gas tax protest has morphed into something else.

They are not requesting a couple of policy changes. They want a revolution. This has been building in the EU for 10 years or more. Unbridled immigration, taxes, etc. France is the most indebted nation to the EU.

Macron opened the govt purse to try to placate the protesters. He promised around $11.3 billion of tax cuts.

Business owners expect the protests to cut economic growth in half.
