This is nothing but Right-Wing hysteria.

The European Member of Parliament (MEP) this refers to is Marcel de Graaff, who represents Party for Freedom - a Dutch nationalist and right-wing populist political party in the Netherlands.

To call De Graaff a "leading" MEP is laughable.
