The media paid so much attention and gave so much exposure to Trump during the primaries that he stuck out in people's minds. I vividly remember that every time I turned on the TV, there would be at least one of the major MSM stations (whom he detests and complains about constantly) with him interviewing, rallying, etc. None of the other 17 candidates got anywhere near the attention that Trump did. Why did the MSM publicize him so much? I just couldn't figure it out. Was it his celebrity, the oddity of having a "reality TV star/multiple bankruptcy businessman" running for the highest office in our country? Like a circus act or a car crash that you can't just help but rubberneck and stare at? Just really strange. Or was someone paying the MSM for all that exposure. What a world we live in.
