It's suspected that the utility companies are responsible for both fires. It's a horrible nightmare. I do blame the corrupted politicians, their mismanagement and cold-hearted negligence. Gov. Brown vetoed a bipartisan Wildfire Management Bill in 2016, that would have addressed some very important issues with power lines sparking fires in wooded and high-brush areas. Along with the Governor's weird mentality, the power companies would rather pay millions and millions to cover the lawsuits they're going to get slammed with rather than to make the necessary upgrades to an old and now deadly electrical system. So much corruption...
