A person left their gun in an unlocked car. That's a pretty stupid thing to do.
I don't like the idea of sanctuary cities but if you own a gun and leave it in an unlocked car that is very irresponsible, stupid or whatever you want to call it. That stupidity isn't any less stupid just because it was an illegal that took the gun.
What if the stupid gun owner did the same thing and a legal citizen took the gun and killed 3 innocent people? Regardless of who stole the gun, the gun shouldn't have been in an unlocked car. I hope the gun owner is held responsible with some type of charge.
