you live in, but I know lots and lots of people who are Democrats and I know a good number of Republicans too. I don't know any Democrats supporting and promoting hate, violence, intolerance, etc. (essentially everything you posted above). The Republicans I know are reasonable and intelligent people who you can have a civil conversation with. Do you actually know people who have the characteristics/beliefs you have mentioned above in your post, or are you getting your information from posts on social media? I don't deny that there are some outrageous things being done by both Democrats and Republicans out there, but it is probably a very, very small percentage of Pubs/Dems perpetrating this bad behavior. So, have you actually met and talked to people who are doing the things you have mentioned? Really.
