That being said, I love them! I would love to go back to then (although it was actually on before I was born), it seems so great, but really.
I do think that some things have changed for the better and many for the worst, but in no way can we stick our heads in the sand and pretend change is not happening and instead of embracing diversity just try to stamp it out.
Even Father Knows Best had an episode about accepting an immigrant gardener into the community.
Sometimes I think about when I was young, how hard it was to be different, how even seeing lots of bands with girls in it can make it better for that girl who wants to be in a band. Young people cannot understand this, but to be different took a lot of courage in those days and now they have a lot of trailblazers in many different forms.
In my opinion, this is a good thing, not bad, and despite Trump and his efforts, you just cannot stuff that genie back in the bottle.
