What if someone did what Kavanaugh is - accused of to you or your daughter?

Posted: Sep 19th, 2018 - 12:54 pm In Reply to: Inquisition? Mansplaining? What if someone accused your - son or husband of rape.

My sister was raped, and I myself have been in such situations, not to that extent luckily for me.

Getting accused of sexual assault (if you didn't do it) is bad, but never as bad as getting sexually assaulted.

At least Kavanaugh gets the chance to defend himself with his wife/mother around to stick up for him. Not the situation in cases like this of sexual assault, is it? It's them against you and they almost always win.

What if my son or husband did actually rape someone? You are the one who brought it up. I would defend them to the death but I wouldn't expect them to get off scot-free just because I knew they were innocent. This incident happened, whether Kavanaugh admits it or not.

Just because you know and love someone doesn't mean you know everything about them or what they're capable of.

Here's a question, if he is so innocent, what is he afraid of? He should have just said he didn't remember, not that he wasn't there. There are many people who remember the incident and it was talked about afterwards. Denying memory because of being drunk is better than denying being there completely.
