As with anything, there are a lot of hypocrites - Does that mean we ourselves

shouldn't try to be eco-friendly? I read an article that GW's house is more eco-friendly than Al Gore's, though he has worked on making his home more eco-friendly through the years.

Al Gore always seems to be brought up in an eco-friendly conversation. I think he helped bring the topic to light, but isn't necessarily walking the talk.

I choose to focus on those that are. I know Ford Motor Company has been focusing on making their buildings eco-friendly for years, NASCAR has tracks that use solar panels to power them. They have even over time changed over to more eco-friendly fuel and are actually talking of using electric cars in the future. There are many other companies and individuals that are walking the talk.

Here is a link of some of the celebrities that are walking the talk. If we focus on one hypocrite instead of the many that are not hypocrites then it hurts the cause. This article is from 2008 so who knows how many more are walking the talk.
