I did see one story during this hurricane where a reporter stopped reporting to go help a woman trying to save her dog. I have also seen some of the stories where many people would not leave their homes because they could not find a shelter that would accept pets. There are good and bad in the human population. I still wonder what happened to the hogs in the hog poop story. I wonder if we will hear if they got them out of there. I think as far as wild animals, they have better instincts than humans. I saw a herd of deer swimming to ground and running off in one film clip. I heard migratory birds were taking a detour around the storm.
