Those of you out here with carpal tunnel syndrome, - how are you dealing with it?

I have it in both hands but my right is the worst. My thumb is numb nearly all the time, and painful. I started having sharp pains between my pointer and long finger, and the numbness and pain wakes me up at night. I have a brace to wear at night but I'm not sure it's helping anymore. How are you dealing with the pain and numbness?
