president and vice president in the clause. It never made sense to me why they are excluded and only held to the emoluments clause, which Trump violates on a regular basis.

A couple points, the clause was changed 10 years after LBJ, according to the article.

He's made several business deals with other countries while in office so that statement is hogwash!
