Where's your law and order with that scenario? Obviously, he is not to be trusted and if they let him out again with the ankle bracelet, what's to stop him trying that again?
He plainly thinks he's above the law, like his former boss. I think keeping him isolated is to protect him from others in the prison and also to stop him trying any funny business to influence witnesses in his trial.
I know solitary confinement can be cruel and unusual punishment, but I'm thinking if I were in prison I would prefer it myself.
