Government overregulation of healthcare has resulted in the - mess we have today. So of course,

the solution is...more government healthcare.

Government involvement in healthcare has so distorted costs that no one can afford more than the most basic care and the drugs are not affordable at all. We have a very tangled knot to unwind that involves many very long very tangled strings.

Insurance used to be catastrophic insurance only. Everything not a catastrophe was paid patient to doctor. No middleman.

How do we pull the government out so costs deflate to something more economically viable, with out collapsing the system and wreaking havoc?
