While Congress spends time nominating post office names and "national whatever day," confirmation of positions remain unfulfilled but some positions don't have to be filled. Do you really need 50,000 people to do the job of 5,000 (example only)? That's called bloated government and that's one of the reasons the spending is so out of control.
