Just to share with you - anon

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6

I pray that God will ease your anxiety and comfort your heart. I heard something the other day that really tweaked my thinking. Instead of being overcome with worry and anxiety and telling God about all of my worries, I heard about turning the tables on all these worries and start telling these things about the Almighty God we serve and belong to and how powerful He is. I've been doing this. I tell my bills and debts, or whatever it is, what God's word says:

"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19.

"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me." Psalm 138:8.

I'm feeling very encouraged by God's word and am trying to commit these passages and many others to memory so that I can quote them out loud when things get to be too much. These are His promises to us and we need to hold fast to them. God bless you and your husband...

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13.

"I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makes me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8
